The Enchanting World of Herb Witenstein

Although he's lived in Loudoun County for almost ten
years, Herb Witenstein owns up to the fact that he has never made any
effort to be included in the Loudoun circle of artists. When he met potter
David Norton at the Round Hill Diner they became friends, and it was David
who introduced him to other Loudoun sculptors and potters: Eric Trueblood,
Jeff Hall, Mary Wolf, and photographer Sarah Huntington. When Sarah first
visited Herb's studio to photograph some of his work last winter, she
was enchanted.
